Linnae Palazzola's scarves, ear warmers, hats and ponchos are all a part of the featured work on display at the library throughout December.
Palazzola, an assistant at the library, is happy that she's showing her own work "finally," she said.
The self-taught crochet first learned the craft when she was five years old by watching her mother.
"I like to create my own stuff," she said. "They are my own designs.”
Mild winter days have extended into the borough's forecast through the middle of the month but Palazzola's pieces are still selling, she said.
The craftswoman replenishes accessories, slouchy hats and multi-colored scarves that are hung on the walls and above magazine and media racks.
Palazzola also teaches a group adults how to crochet every Monday night at the library from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Novice and veteran crocheters can learn and advance their skills.
“I’m so glad people want to learn and people are keeping it alive," she said.
Sets are available for children, and adults can pick up a hat and scarf for $35, or poncho for $55.
Palazzola's display will be up through Dec. 30.
